The design of this space draws inspiration from childhood nostalgia, creating an environment that evokes cherished memories of the past. Every element is thoughtfully crafted to transport guests to simpler times, evoking the joy of classic carousel rides and whimsical circus shows. The overall design captures the delightful ambience of vintage theatre.
Flexibility was a key consideration, with each area designed to easily adapt to the atmosphere and function. The project features standout elements that add a unique touch to the overall experience. The entrance canopy serves as a dramatic focal point, while the carousel bar at the centre of the space is inspired by a whimsical circus scene. Custom-designed furniture, lighting, and sculptural elements enhance this theme throughout. An unconventional triangle fireplace and a tented room further the whimsical design.
Upstairs, a bust wall presents a playful and provocative installation leading to the vibrant illuminated bar area. The forest bathroom immerses visitors in nature, with stained glass bugs, monkey-shaped basins, and ambient sounds that enhance the space.
Aligned with our vision of maximalism, we incorporated luxurious materials and textures such as velvets, mirrors, and rich fabrics, creating layers and a variety of sensory experiences throughout. These materials reinforce the opulence and drama we aimed to achieve.
