Nestled in the heart of the Zambezi wilderness, Chongwe House is a sculptural sanctuary where nature and design coexist. Inspired by the sinuous flow of the Chongwe River, the architecture follows a gentle, organic rhythm—soft curves, raw, earthy textures and hues that echo the landscape itself.
Every space has been considered to foster connection and tranquillity. Open-air lounges invite slow moments of reflection, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and scents of the bush.
The interiors are anchored by natural materials—cotton, linen, river stone, and carved wood—woven into bespoke furnishings and handcrafted lighting. Together, these elements create a space that feels both grounded and luxurious.
At Chongwe House, every element is designed to honour the beauty of the wilderness while conserving its natural surroundings.
